A podcast where you join me (Penny!) as I chat to fellow creatives over a cocktail.
I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR, LAWYER, AUTHOR & PODCAST HOST. I'M PASSIONATE ABOUT LIVING MY BEST LIFE & BELIEVE YOU CAN TOO!
My journey over the last few years has been all about living my best life. I went through my own divorce where I was forced to change the course of my life. It was hard but ever since I have been determined to create my best life ever.
We all only have one life and I choose mine to be exceptional and so can you!
What does it take to live your best life? You know what I have discovered… it is a choice. Truly! And it can be the small things that make all the difference.
It is true that we don’t always get to choose our circumstances, but how we deal with them is a choice and this can greatly impact our perception and our experience.
One of the things that we can do is choose how we spend our precious most valuable asset…. Our time.
Did you know that if you waste 20 minutes a day on things such as scrolling, looking in the fridge as to what to cook for dinner, wondering what to wear or in any other way, it adds up to a total of a full week per year!
How crazy is that?
We often complain about there not being enough time in the day, I am so guilty of this myself. If we reflect and look at how we are spending our time, are we using it to create our best lives (whatever that is for you) or are we actually being wasteful with our time.
Just think, by saving 20 minutes a day, you can actually gain a full week back every year. Imagine how much you could achieve and what would you do with a spare week per year? What does that mean to you and what would you do with that time.
How many amazing adventures, relationships or projects could you make happen if you had a free week to dedicate to them. That is just 20 minutes a day.
I want you to think about and take stock of what you are wasting time on and start making changes that will help you live your best life. For example, just to name a few, are you wasting time on being angry at something or someone you can’t change, scrolling online and comparing yourself, watching rubbish TV that doesn’t help you to move forward, buying things that you don’t need or just adding them to shopping carts when you are never going to buy them (I am so guilty of some of these very things!)
Claim back your 20 minutes a day and use the time on creating your best life. YES!
